Ed Pepping demonstrating his skill as a switchboard operator. Ed served as a medic with the 506th, Easy Company and was wounded during the drop on St. Mére Eglise. He continued to serve in the field with 3 crushed vertebrae for 15 days until he was evacuated to England.
