The “Big Map” weighs close to 5 tons and was created by twelve expert draftsmen with more than 250,000 pieces of fiberboard. The Map depicts the 50,000 square miles of land surrounding the route of the Colorado River Aqueduct. Note the placard placed at the proposed location for Hoover Dam (now Boulder Dam).
